The fact that it's always fat bds you see drinking "diet" drinks, eating salads at lunch in work etc. Talk about kidding yourselves on... Meanwhile all the people of normal mass are stuffing their faces with pizza and donuts. Why are they not fat? Because they’re not lazy, greedy bds that’s why!

The fact that an internal email has gone out globally praising a number of induhviduals and teams for the successful completion of a project - Despite the fact that they did nothing but hinder it. The total lack of mention of the month of solid work I put in to fix three months of their (lack of) work which was the only reason it was successful seems to have gone un-noticed.

But, like the Murphys. I'm not bitter.

Well, I am a bit

Sounds like the NHS projects I've worked on. All the high paid tts who can't even find their own arse get the glory while those of us who made it work despite them get nowt.

I think that's a pretty reasonable thing to be annoyed about tbh.

This - and trying to explain that the kitchen sink is NOT a waste disposal unit. Leftovers from dinner will NOT magically disappear just because they're down a hole and out of sight.

Stupid fking I.T. support 'ticketing' systems meaning that when they reply you can only see their response in the email and absolutely none of the context to the issue you raised with them. This means you have to rake through your sent items to find out what it was you were moaning about in the first place.

This. I've got a sink drain thing - When you empty the bowl, sometimes it dislodges the drain thing, all you have to do is hold it down for a moment when the bowl empties - NOT for it to be dislodged and all that food empties in the sink. I do so enjoy cleaning it out.

And while you're at it - metal cans of beans and st do NOT go in the fridge. Use one of the millions of plastic containers that are in the cupboard NEXT to the fridge.

And people that leave things out of the fridge. Put them back. For the love of god, please...

If ever there was a post that failed to pick up the mood of the country more than this rather pathetic joke I'd like to see it.

wker
The arson was a terrible/stupid/horrible thing to do, but I'm amazed at the level of outcry from the general public. No-one cared about these dogs prior to the incident.

Tell me, how many dogs have either of you taken in from a rescue home in your lifetimes?

I'm not sure if it's my paranoia but recently I keep hearing Scottish people.

Apple - (Recorded voice) Scottish woman with really annoying accent and silly tappety tap noises after she asks a question, as if she is real and tapping into a keyboard!
Stop abuse advert - some "carer" with a strong Scots accent. Annoying.
Esure - Rang them up and could not understand the Scottish bloke at all!

Yes we get it Scotland. We see you!

2 for me so far. The Point is they were in a rescue centre, Bit like people being in a Hospital and that burning down.

Dogs come into these place for various reasons, no case is the same, some have been neglected, some have been ill treated, some the loving owners have had to go into a home or have passed away, the good thing is unlike some countries vets and staff are prepared to look after these Animals and try and find them new homes and owners, not always possible but at least places like this exist.
So for some scroat to come along and set fire to a place like this is unforgivable in my book.

The PC isn't connecting to the network at all. I've swapped the cable but it's no good. The cable works ok on another PC. Ticket comes through from IT 'monitor fault, booked replacement' argh!

The way that "lil man" and "lil princess" seem to have replaced the words "son" and "daughter" in the language of so many breeders these days. Or maybe it's just a Facefk thing.

2 rescue dogs for us as well right now. So, that point rather fell flat didn't it. I'm not some evangelical dog person but I think someone who makes a continues effort to do something like that is a simple waste of air. I thought the 'joke' by someone trying to be a smartass rather missed the sense of disgust, and I said so.

I am happy to laugh at anything as a rule. Just wasn't funny.
