People who use Twitter to make complaints to companies. Worst platform to do it on!
Why? It normally gets their attention better than phoning up about it.

The fact that many drivers still display tax discs. Especially ones that have now expired.

How lazy do you have to be not to remove it, especially once expired (and therefore no longer acting as a reminder)?
I have an E30Zone sticker above my tax disc. If I removed the tax disk it would leave the sticker looking odd being 1/3 of the way up the window.

This is true, though usually their intentions are to shout out about it to their 10 followers as well, who most likely won't even see the complaint because of the way Twitter works

In many ways, it's the only way to get a response.

It actually works.

I'm not sure if this is the right thread for this but there isn't a thread entitled "Things that bemuse you beyond reason..." so here goes.

I just saw a car with a sticker on the back which read "My Brother Is In The Navy".

What the fk? Who fking cares? My brother is a secondary school teacher, my Grandmother used to help out in the Oxfam shop and my Uncle managed a medium-sized branch of WHSmith but I certainly have no intention or desire to advertise these facts on the back of my car. Maybe this makes me the weirdo. I don't know any more.

When speccing up the kitchen in my previous house I specced a "one and a quarter" sink because, as the cook of the household, I wanted to be able to drain saucepans into the quarter sink whilst cooking, rather than trying to pour down the side of the washing up bowl as is usual for just a single sink.

Within 2 days of installation, the wife was using the quarter sink to store the washing up liquid, dish brush, etc. mad

Athletics, the long distance walking events.

Slow it down and they all have both feet off the ground at the same time. That's called running not walking.

It does. I just happened to comment on twitter that my phone like was dreadful and broadband kept dropping and I had called BT help desk and they said it was me?? Anyhow BT contacted me asked for more information, I told them and next day to my surprise I had a BT engineer on the doorstep. Turned out it was a break in the wire in the middle of the road. They dug it up and fixed it and been fine since.

yes the big companies monitor their twitter things. I had a problem with SSE, posted it on their twitter thing, response within 2 hours and resolved within a week.

Kids.

I could probably leave it there actually. But, specifically, if something is fun once then it is apparently fun 100 times in succession. It's one of the many things that irritate me about them.

About an hour ago I was in a café having to listen to a little girl on a nearby table ask her parents and grandparents "Heads or Tails?" again and again and again and again. Fortunately they eventually finished up and left, which was somewhat of a relief for me.

Still, better than screaming babies / toddlers, I guess.

Where you not a child once? Or were you born perfect at the age of 21? It annoys me beyond reason people who can't put up with children occasionally. I have two who happen to be quite well behaved, but even so it was just a youngster playing a game. Obviously you didn't ever scream or cry whilst you were a baby either.
