Maybe not in a monetry sense, but in an intangible sense. That is to say I can well imagine she is a laugh and would be (one) reason as to why people would look forward to going to work, and lets be honest, its a pretty soul destroying job.

Poor George did not seem too adept at sorting the post out either but credit to Nev for not booting him out completely. Sure Hayley started off on the phones but tea making was more her forte!

Ok, let's imagine you replace Hayley with a tea machine. How much productivity would you lose by having call centre staff off the phones getting teas? This way, staff are more productive, and work more enjoyable.

I have worked in inbound call centres which were bad enough but outbound cold calling must be so depressing

he did tweet a photo of the two of them at home together last night after the show. I'm sure she's into him for his looks/personality etc etc etc

Call centre star’s a jailed drug dealer
Convicted drug dealer Johnny Allen

A STAR of TV show The Call Centre was jailed for four years for dealing cocaine and ecstasy, it emerged last night.

Johnny Allen is said to have once claimed to be “the biggest drug dealer around”.

The salesman, 32, has now found fame after two series of BBC3’s fly-on-the-wall show — which features his sister Gemma and follows madcap Save Britain Money boss Nev Wilshire.

But a furious dad, who claims his 17-year-old daughter was rushed to hospital after Johnny sold her ecstasy, has slammed his star status. The man, who did not want to be named, said: “I’m disgusted he’s on TV, he’s rubbing our nose in it.

“My daughter was violently ill. He’s an unscrupulous man.”

Speaking from his parents’ council house in Neath, near Swansea, where he still lives, Johnny admitted: “I served my time. I’m not ashamed of it, it’s made me who I am today.

“Ever since I’ve been out of prison I’ve knuckled down, got on with my work and done my best to stay out of trouble — simple as that.”

He said he was not aware of a girl falling ill from his drugs.

Johnny added he will be “forever grateful” to Nev for giving him a chance after he was freed after two years in his mid-20s.

Save Britain Money said Johnny is a “model employee who is trusted implicitly”.

It would be inevitable a percentage of employees there will have convictions.
It's also inevitable that a percentage of staff there will be total nobs.

Whilst I can sort of understand the dad's point of view, at the end of the day, he has been convicted, he's served his time, and he has been fortunate enough to be given a chance by Nev. I really do not see how he is "rubbing the dad's nose in it"

IMO, there's a better than 50/50 chance the Dad and Daughter don't even exist - this is tabloid journalism after all.

What makes me suspect this:

- they're not named,
- the amount of people who need hospital treatment after taking ecstacy is so small as to be negligible,
- Johnny apparently holds his hands up to what he did, but denies any knowledge of them,
- from the above, presumably they didn't come forward either during his trial or afterwards,
- despite the above, the Dad is willing to tell his story to the a national newspaper.
