I have deleted my initial message from this topic.

Show your wife the house price trends on Zoopla and Sag prices and she may change her mind - mine did! ;-)

Ride it out for a week? The summer will soon be over, the heating back on and inertia set in.... wink

Keep it at all costs, or go the opposite way and say 'great, I've been looking to upgrade to a full track car for a while now', and see how quickly she backs down?

Always a mistake in my view.

The money once liquidation from a car can always be spent or utilised elsewhere, always difficult to make the argument again
in my experience, especially if you've succumbed once before.

Why nice curtains and fitted wardrobes are given priority over cars, holidays and other things that make life worth living is a mystery to me. (My partner thinks the same by the way)

Cheap Chim 400 with a turbo installed.

So has anyone driven a Turbo Chim or Griff and if so any views?
Hope you manage to hang onto your Sag, but if not I might be able to help out.

Had a supercharger fitted to mine a few years ago, and it goes like stink. Since I bought the "pony" a couple of years ago, the Chim is getting very little use, and is likely to be up for sale in a month or so. I can't e mail you through your profile, but if you PM me I can provide further details if interested.
You probably wouldn't need the LS conversion either...

Well I agree with the sentiment and selling a Sag that is appreciating in value for house fittings is daft....not sure putting an ROI spread sheet together will do the trick though.

Car is mint and a crime to sell. If the car appears in the classified section you know who's thumb I am under. Blues just sent you a mail.

Having sold my Tuscan 3 years ago to buy a house and regretting it since, I would say don't do it.

Sold up to buy a house however only moved in yesterday by which point the finance would have been paid off 2 years ago and I'd still have the car.

@JLF
So, you have to sell your car for her new kitchen/furniture?!?!
And what's her part of the game?

Sounds like a better option to get rid of the wife..

IMO, any sale of 'toys' etc shouldn't be dictated by the other half. I know mine wouldn't do that.. Maybe I have a keeper?!
