Hi All
Had to mod the bonnet to get everything under it and better air flow. its just how it turned out, it's in guide coat. I have to finish off the arches as the tyres stick out 25mm, a small arch should do the trick, needs a good rub down before taking a mould off it.

Guess you won't be using original indicators smile

That's really crying out some flared in (Griffith style) headlights (IMHO)

Tried BMW mini, speed 12, Cerb pods. none looked right, will see what the new 7" std look like when I fit them in this week
I was thinking of these as the shop is 2 mls away from work.

That’s going to look very handsome. The faired in headlight suggestion sounds good. What colour are you going to for?

It will be red with magnolia / red piping or black with magnolia / black piping, will leave the final choice to the better half as she says it here money I'm spending ( don't they all say that), I do keep saying "are you coming to the workshop to see where all your money is going.

Reckon the paint needs to make the same statement as the car - custom & spectacular. Great to watch this unfold. The new TVR owner might be interested!

Alan,
Fantastic project, nearly as exiting just following it on here. If you get any carbon fibre left over from the bonnet what about carbon roof panels, maybe a three piece.

Alan,
The more you reveal of this project, the better it gets.
You modestly say it just turned out that way, but it's the result of your creativity that's given it that awesome, aggressive but finely sculpted & modern look.
I think it's superb. cloud9
Definitely go for the faired lights, they will really suit it.

Have you thought about the style of front grille?

Brilliant job, can't wait to see it finished and have that ride in it ( after Phillpot of course! )
bow
PS. Your missus deserves heaps of praise for funding the whole project wink
Hope she chooses red. ( I loved the original aqua blue personally, but this beast needs red. )

The flares and bulges and wider track will give it a brutish “stance” so I’m thinking metallic black would show all those curves to best effect. Dark red leather with black piping for the seats. Ditto for the carpets. What are your thoughts on wheels? What ever you choose it’s going to look fantastic.

I think we’d all like to come to the workshop and see how it’s progressing. You could sell tickets thumbup

You could also give us a lesson in fibre glassing thumbup
I for one would be happy to slip a few beer tokens in your direction for a morning of tuition, you certainly seem to have the knack.

As more and more of this work is revealed, it just builds the anticipation of the final unveiling of the completed car.

The bonnet looks great, can you just imagine how spectacular it's going look when it's painted!!!

Stunning!

Shaping up very nicely ! Once it's done you should take it for a drive down Guildford way and park it outside Les Edgar's house. Updated S is what TVR need for a revival.

p.s definitely cowls for the headlights IMHO

Brilliant job!

I agree with others and would definitely go with the headlight covers as you have created a more agressive/modern front end. They might look even better if you do paint the car black too.
