Detailer required near Guildford

[GG33]

Need some correction doing to a new car due to slight orange peel in clearcoat. It's a new Jag XF
and my father in-law is a fussy owner. I guess the whole car needs doing and he wants it done off site.
Any recommendations would be gratefully received.

I've asked a friend of mine if he can do new car detailing, he used to work at Jaguar in Guildford. If he can I'll put his details up too.

I've no experience with any of the above companies, just copied it from DW for you.

Paint correction and orange peel removal are different things with slightly different knowledge and skill needed,

there are many detailers out there that will be happy to detail the car , but only a few that will remove orange peel in the clearcoat as a standard service they offer.

Thanks for the advice. It would seem I dont need a detailer after all...Instead I need a very good machine polisher or someone that can wet-sand and polish.

I therefore invite offers from people that will provide just that service rather than full detailing (not necessary on a brand new car anyway)

The vehicle will still need a thorough detail because its vital to remove any contamination before wet sanding even if it is a brand new car.

Modern lacquers are very thin (that's part of the reason for the orange peel).

I think you'll be lucky to get someone to take the job on.

To do this properly on a new car is a skilled and expensive job, £1000+

I'll just repeat what I said in post 2. Kelly at KDS.

I assumed from your initial post that you would likely need a wet sand.
