HELP!! - Classic Car Show on Sunday
Discussion
I have my first 'proper' show of the year on Sunday and obviously want Tango1 to look its best, but how far should I go?
The car is generally clean, and has a wash & QD or wax top-up most weekends.
Externally I'm thinking strip wash, Polish with SRP, then HDwax on Saturday. Then a go-over with SONAX Brilliant Shine on the Sunday morning.
Internally it's pretty clean, so will give it a quick once-over. Likewise, I keep the oilybits clean and tidy, so they will have a clean and polish.
I really want to try a proper hand or machine polish at some stage as (GRP blemishes aside) there are various light swirls in the paint although the SRP does quite a good job of filling these. But the car has been resprayed, and the depth/quality of the paint is unknown, added to which I believe depth gauges can't give true readings on GRP...?
All thoughts most welcome!
