Thanks ! its a great car lots of character makes all the right noises pops bangs on overrun whining straight cut box etc massive lag ! its very quick once turbo spools but would be blown away by modern fast cars due to the power delivery to be honest if I had specced engine I would have gone for a smaller turbo and worked on reducing lag but part of the fun is waiting for the turbo hit I guess ! lol

t38 hyrbid would help? smile

gt30r is massive tbh

i run a gt28r on my 5 gtt and its pretty laggy but the epic throw back in the seat is more than worth it haha smile

was told by guys who rebuilt it that engine was 12k and gearbox 5k so its had a lot of money spent on it over its lifetime ,engine in it now is 3rd one since it was built

do you have the engine spec? must be running a pretty aggressive cam with that turbo

no I don't to be honest Mark Sheard built it so I would need to ask him

Is it a YB in this?

A Gt30r shouldnt be too laggy on a 2.0litre. That said, one of the best road turbos for a 2.0 is the GT28RS.
