Can anyone point me in the direction of a cracking lease deal for an Evoque? The prices I'm getting at the mo are very high considering how strong residuals have been.

I'm looking for 6+23 if possible?

I don't want to buy a one because I have a feeling the bubble will burst in the next 12months because there are so many of them about. Also I don't want to tie money up that we need for a new business venture.

Stratstone are doing a good deal at the moment on buying on PCP. 4WD SD4 5dr for £349 pm over 48 months with £7k down and £12k MGFV. It tempted me given they wanted £550 pm for a RRS at the same price with £8k deposit, over same term with £11k balloon. New Evoque arrives in Sept.

Are Land Rover still doing the deal where you pay 50% for the vehicle then nothing to pay for 2 years...or something like that.

No its not, but if you have 30K that you're going to spend on a 2nd hand RRS then you can jump in a new one for the same ££.

Well not quite but you get my drift.

Hi

Which dealership (if it makes a difference?) did you use?

I went to look at an Evoque today at Stratstone Slough (OTR price was around £42,000). With £10,000 down, and at 7.9% APR, monthly on PCP was well over £500 - 48 month term.

Want the car, but not at the much per month. To get the monthly payment down to the 300's I'd need to put down almost £17,000, and I'd rather not tie so much money up in this car at this particular time.

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Doncaster dealer, but it's a standard Stratstone offer, see their website, click new cars, Land Rover...there are 25 different deals on LRs. At £40k I assume you were looking at a Dynamic? The car I am looking at is a pure 4WD, £31K plus options. The APR is 6.6%... they wanted 11% used on a £31k vehicle, so the new car was cheaper than used ones per month.

I am not interested in the sat nav, HDD CD/DVD drives or similar ridiculously priced options, like further electrifying the seats for £850, hence my choice of pure, with tints, Xenons, fogs, parking sensors, power fold mirrors at c£2k extra. Some of the options packages are second hand car money...sod that...it's for the wife to do 16mile a day in!

Forgot to add, Stratstone quarter 3 offers start in early July...the deal may go...or get even better for orders in time for the new 63 reg.

Thanks a lot for that.

Yep it was a Dynamic I was looking at. The Pure might be a better idea though, plus a few extras.

Was the 6.6% APR what they offered, or what you managed to negotiate from them?

Hi - not sure if this will help (or if you are still looking!)but I recently (4 months ago) leased an evoque from a company near Manchester that was recommended to me. Their service was great and seemed to have some great offers - not sure if their offers are any good now though - http://www.vantage-leasing.com/carleasing-categori...
Hope this helps :-)

Dragging up a year old thread on your first post on the website, to promote a firm who feature in the website of the weblink listed in your profile?!

Cheeky!

Did you really lease a car from them, what were the figures?

Yes - I searched to see the reviews on the car itself and found this thread - as I wasn't sure if I should purchase or lease. I do not post much but I have leased the car 2.2 ED4 (Tech Pack) for a 36 month period...not sure if the lease is the best way to go as I have always bought my cars personally but this is the first time through my company as it's VAT registered and I was advised that the lease was better value - time will tell though if it is better value from a tax perspective...
