I have a corporate shoot coming up with a Ronin - would be good to see your review. I've heard that they're easier to balance than a Movi (although still a challenge!), but at least I'll have a an assistant to remotely operate the gimbal...
>camera OFF TOPIC geekery<

TBH mate I didn't get too much out of the course as I guess I'd Googled and fiddled and read the manual and researched enough. There is a 3 setting switch on the RC unit for it to decide who is boss - why you would want to use the third (self centering) I have no idea! We also popped it on one of these biggrin

Or the car is accelerating; the digital lags the analogue in either direction by some small time period.

Screwed this to the garage floor:

Proving useful already as the big beast is a v snug fit - stops car an inch after clearing the entrance door so no bumping the paint pots etc!

Funnily enough I did something similar last week, although I used an off-cut of CLS timber to make mine. The good news is that half an hour of drilling and the knackering of two drill-bits has resulted in a stop that's very firm. The bad news is that I've tripped over it twice already!

Still at least it should be impossible to empale the boot lid on the handle of the vice now.

Yes I bought some stick on pads and can be guaranteed to nestle the door edge into it now each and every time (still have to breathe in to get out mind)!

Axe - paint it yellow before any family member sues you for creating a trip hazard!!!

Have one for me and the wife's Jeep. Keep having to remind her to put it in neutral before parking so the tire can settle.

Washed it, and reminded myself how well Cobalt Blue suits a Vantage.
