dim light bulb went a couple of weeks ago, ordered a second hand one from aston bits and fitted it. it flickered for a couple of seconds and wouldnt work, tried the same bulb in the opposite side and it works perfect any ideas or suggestions thanks

Main beam or dipped?
Are you dipped HID's?

Actually the igniter is on the base of the bulb so would have been swapped out.
It's the ballast you want which is mounted by 3 screws to the underside of the headlight assembly and is a bit of a sod to get to

XLD 145 is the part number

IIRC Someone did post up that they were the same as a another car. Focus ST maybe?? Also common with some LR products I believe

Exactly what I did. A new sidelight bulb on the DeeBeeNoyne was £6.....final bill was £120.

Great coffee though thumbup

im wondering if my aston martin extended warranty will cover this???

It jolly well should do. The ballasts are not "consumable" items and the headlights could definitely be counted as safety items
