Hi. Thinking of the above, around 2007 model. I was wondering if the sound levels are always high, say at motorway speeds, to make the journey tiring?

Nope even roof down at motorway speeds it's ok.

I drove my 2007 DB9 Volante to The Algarve last year, most of the way back through Spain had the roof down.

Sound levels are fine. Whilst not quite as die-hard as yeti (recent post "if the roof's up the storm outside should have a name"), I am generally a roof down person. Little tour shortly after I got mine to Champagne, Beaune, Berne, Zurich and back via the Moselle in Germany. Roof down all the way apart from on the autobahns, where I caved in to pressure from my wife. I suspect that wind noise at those speeds may indeed have made conversation more difficult whistle

But you won't experience that on UK roads anyway.

thanks wobbly/ gmacdb9

I plan to check out one this weekend at Stratstone so hope weather is good enough to let me drive with the roof down. Coming from a Daimler Double 6 (different type of V12/ 6l), this should be an experience!
