I've got a Sky in my house and live on my own, my parents have BT broadband and don't have nor want Sky. Now I'd quite like to make use of BTs offer of Free BT Sport for broadband customers. Does anyone know if the Sky account and BT broadband address need to match or if they can even check that the Sky account address matches the BT one?

Yes it's cheeky but my parents aren't going to make use of the privilege so I might as well if I can!

As I understand it they simply ask for the card number.

whether or not they cross reference it with addresses, I don't know. I'd just assumed they'd tell Sky to add BT Sport to card number 123456.

Today was a FREE launch day for BT Sport so I watched it too. Damm sure I'm paying for it as I'm already paying £100+to Sky each month for TV-Phone-Broadband (Fibre)

Still all working, so it appears it worked.

They SHOULD ask for the address and then cross-reference it on Sky's database to make sure the card number matches to the address. If they didn't then that advisor didn't do their job properly.
