LPG a Rover V8 on carbs?

Would anyone be able to offer any advice or point in the right direction regarding getting a Rover V8 to run on LPG but on carbs not EFI?

Old gas setups used a mixer ring, basically an LPG carburettor placed in the airstream.

There's an LPG section over on the UK V8 Forum, ask there. If you can find the parts, it shouldnt be difficult.

Or google DIY LPG, some stuff will appear.

Had massive problems with blowback on my SU carb LPG'd range rover.

May have been the original install, but it got so bad eventually i took it all off!

You could of course install a multi point system, and actually improve the engine management!

I'd imagine such a system hideously expensive on a carburettor car.
