is it too late to resurrect this thread?

I need a new full set of discs for the Tuscan 2000. The fronts are about 300 though not measured and wanted to know if there are any in stock of the new fronts at 330mm? I would need spacers I believe. Also the front calipers are the black ones with TVR written on them. My old AP ones had to go when I crack was spotted in the uprights.

what are people thinking of them?

I fitted them today and also new pads that Paul recommended. They did say not for road use on the box and I think I know why. They make stopping a lot quicker. With 888s on I am sure the front wheels will not lock up but on road tyres it was very easy to lock up. Need to re adjust my style of driving.

My thoughts are that the rear cannot now cope with the stopping power of the Carbone Lorraine pads even though they are Yellow stuff. I need to replace the rear discs and pads with the new discs coming in July (hopefully). In the meantime I will go back to 888s for the road and I am sure it will be the perfect set up.

I`ve found they are great, stopping power is certainly better.

We have fitted them on one of the RX7 LS engined cars, he had 355mm on bells, the car is a 500bhp car using full slicks, trackday use.
He has had severe warp problems, using Ap and PFC rotors, and they kept going out of true, he tried 3 lots of brake pads, Pagid, Ferodo and CL, next we were going to swap the AP 6 pots for something else, but we popped a set of these 1 piece 330's and hey presto! 3 trackdays later still straight as the day we put them on and no wear, these really were the acid test, we are both very pleased with the results.

I have discs and pads all round on my Cerb from Brummmie. I find they can glaze up a bit, are a bit dusty, squeal a bit at low speed, but OMG they stop when you need to! These brakes are awesome.

Are these disks still available, as I just had a quote of £1400 for new front discs and pads, which is clearly a little to high to put it nicely.

Thast is bonkers, a pair of the AP disks that fit the original bells are about £500 the pair, pads take your choice of price but CL6's or Pagid RS14's work very well on a cerbera.

We have produced these, and remember these are one off designs and castings, in very small quantities in industry standards, not re-drilled cheapo's, but not put TVR tax on.
We take delivery in July of another 500 discs in every size including standard sizes, drilled and grooved options, so standard sized fronts in 304/322 in drilled, and if you want grooved rears to go with the 330R on your T Chassis we will have them!
Prices will be pleasant smile

The wait is over for the rear Tuscan discs and CL pads!

Very pleased that Brummmie delivered on time and at the agreed price. Excellent service.

Hi Brummmie, thread resurrection - my 330mm discs are wearing out, is it possible to get some replacements?

I visited what I think is your website but saw no discs, only pads.

Thanks!

I have managed to get through 3 sets, the ones from the original group buy lasted about two years the AP ones last around 5 years.

They wear away getting too thin and loose their groves.

I believe Brummie has sold his car now?

What an incredible car he created, I know that engine swaps aren't popular on here, but if you're going to do it, Brummie's was/is as good as it gets.

Might be worth someone contacting him directly, as he probably doesn't check in here so much anymore?
