STOLEN CAR - BMW M3 V8 - M3 JBY / NC57 CWP - WBSWD92080PY35568 /JEREZ SCHWARZ METALLIC Black

Stolen this morning from my drive with its keys, they broke into the house and stole the 2 sets of keys.

65K Black with Black Leather, 19 Inch alloys. Chip on the bonnet and small mark on the N/S of the Rear Bumper.

What more can I say, gutted ;0(

To be clear. The Chip was so small you cant see it on the a photograph, but I would know it, and the mark on the bumper was about as big as a 20 pence piece, again, not noticeable to anyone but me.

Hope they find the swines, with car intact!

I've updated the Stolen Cars wiki for you, on the main 'General Gassing' page.

Exactly the same thing happened to my friend and his carrera 4s.
his was recovered, although it needed a good bit of work to bring it back to its p-steal condition. The issue is his is now an immaculate carrera 4s whose history includes the dreaded words stolen/recovered
I hope you find it and the feckers who stole it in the first place
Outrageous!
Fingers crossed

o/t but if it was recovered before the insurers paid out would it still be recorded as stolen/recovered?

Edit - rudely forgot to say good luck with getting it back blemish free

Police assume its been stolen for doing some dodgy things.... There were some plates stolen form a BMW M3 locally the day before, so it looks like it was a planned thing.

My insurer Admiral said that they assume total loss for the get go, and I have to send all the docs to them, inc any spare keys. They work on the principal its gone, and if they find it they said they would fix it, replace locks etc.

Not sure how that effects the claim, v-car flag and the policy etc.

Good luck with getting it back (if you want it back)

Only thing I would say which doesn't help now is that your site has pictures of the car with numberplate visible and your house (I assume). It just makes life easier when you know how easy it is to scope out a place, alarms, cctv when these low-level scum are targeting houses for the cars.

A simple google of your plate brought up your site and your site your name, your name your other sites and before you know it, it's not difficult extracting the address.

It's more a word of warning to others too.

I wouldn't say this matters a jot! If these scumbags want a car, they can easily drive around to spot one, look at the classifieds, etc etc, it's easy. If your theory is correct then we should all be scared and buy our toys, put them in a garage, and brick the door up!

Hide keys if you feel more comfortable, but I won't be letting these scumbags ruin my enjoyment, of what I have worked hard for!

OP, good luck!!
