Who's going then ???

I'll be there in the TVR as I don't own a bike yet ....

Was excellent last year (except the ludricous amount of time to get in the place !!) and can't wait to hear the new sound of the four strokes, especially the Aprilla

Cheers

Last year Eurosport showed an aerial shot of the aera and there were still queues back to the M1 after the 500GP's had started racing
I wouldn't even try to arrive on Sunday, go Saturday and camp
I know a few shortcuts around the aera but I would guess the police will have it all 'one way'

Used one shortcut last year and queued for nearly 3 hrs and missed the first 8 laps of the 125's.

I was rather annoyed as you may imagine.

First race this year is at 11:15am (125's) and the intentions are to be there by 8:30am to either avoid the queue or have enough time to get in.

Hopefully they will be better prepared this year !

For anyone that fansies a chat I will be on the banking Coppice side of the Dunlop Bridge. I won't stand out but my mum with her Mugello Hawaiian Rossi shirt and yellow Rossi sun hat will be causing aircraft to crash land !!!!

Cheers

Do the queues slow entrance by bike as well? I queued in my car for hours for the Superbikes at Cadwell the year before last, but the bike riders just rode straight past me. This year I have a bike....
trouble is if I need to be there at 8.30, then I need to set away from home at 5 o clock! (assuming there is a 5 oclock in the morning)

With Cadwell over the last 2 years the popularity has gone through the roof. They even turned people away last year !! I always enter the circuit at the back entrance rather than the main. I'll be there again this year, haven't missed it in a decade now I think..

As for Donington the bikes went past us aswell on the way in and I doubt they were delyed anywhere near as much as we were.

8:30am is a bit extreme probably...but I was so pi55ed off last year that it spoilt some of the day for me and I'm not going through it again this year. Idon't mind so much on the way out as you expect and hopefully you've had a good day which makes up for it.

Cheers

Good sunny day today, pity Rossi binned it in the morning and spent the afternoon in A&E with his team mate who chucked it down the road in the same sesson
It was getting busy today, so it's going to be rammed Saturday and Sunday, get there early
