96 wrx wagon decat question

Hi Guys

Ive been off the scene for some time but just bagged a tidy 96 wrx wagon which im looking at decatting, can i do this without a remap or not, my version 1 sti was fine, but that didnt have lambda sensor in the downpipe which this later wrx does.

any help appreciated

Personally I wouldnt run a decat without a remap, as most likely it would overboost and you will get a boost cut

thats good enough for me, had no issues on the sti but that only had the cat on fire sensor in the downpipe.

i'll wait until i look to remap the car before doing anything else.
