I'd forgotten about that. Just like watching Brazil Cie said:
I'd imagine if they happened to show the 6-1 loss at Old Trafford to Man $ity a couple of seasons ago then I wouldn't really care. So what?
Well if they built an ad campaign about how st Moyes was and the various clubs who broke long standing records for winning at OT I'm sure you'd be a bit miffed. I've got no problem with them doing the first ad, then picking another team for the next ad...I mean it's not like there weren't plenty of teams that got thumped last year to pick from!

better than giroud? If you are asking if I think Remy is better than Giroud I'd say he is a better finisher, and is certainly a lot more mobile. But in Arsenal's system with one central striker being flanked (in theory) by the speedy Walcott & Sanchez, I think Giroud's excellent hold-up & link-up play is better suited.
This aspect of Giroud's game has often been overlooked (particularly when stripped of the pacey support it often requires), but he really is excellent at it. Whilst wishing to sidestep any 'great-feet-for-a-big-man' cliches, his deftness of touch (and penchant for a flick) and ability to find a through-ball or lay-off with his back to goal is a huge asset, as is his ability (so far at least) to avoid niggling injury.
His defensive contribution at set-pieces is also worth noting, as is his willingness to put opposition defenders under pressure. Having that physicality up front- and ability to win a large portion of any balls heading in his direction also helps relieve pressure in those games where Arsenal don't have the majority of possession.
Certainly, for a large part of last season with Walcott/Chamberlain injured, Remy would have been a much better fit.
However Giroud's contribution to the Arsenal team is currently much greater than just goals, and frankly if Arsenal were going to buy another 'true' center-forward I think they would now need to be looking at someone in the bracket above both Remy & Giroud for it to be worth their while- and they don't come cheap.

Spot on. Not even sure who is available.
BenzemaA few interesting bits in Wenger's press conf in NYC.....sees Sanchez as a striker but can play on both flanks....Ozil, BFG and Poldi won't be ready for the start of the season and he reckons this is Zelalem's breakthrough year. If BFG isn't back til the season has started TV5 is going nowhere until the last day.
You can't call yourself a football club unless you bring youth players through IMHO....all the great sides have had players that have come through their clubs youth system here and abroad. It's the difference between being a football club and a football team in my mind.
Zelalem's a natural http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2141397-aaron-r...
