Of course, we should be wining that game. My biggest concern is the injuries again and the lack of a top class defensive midfielder.
How's Jack?
Made of glass so he's a bit broken.

Delighted with the performance of Ozil and Alexis when he came on looked lively. Welbeck was good in the first half not so the second, summed up by his 'involvement' for the goal.

This game highlights how costly it may be not having a proper quality defensive midfielder.

Fair result.
Just back from the game....sat a couple of seats from that North London legend Pat Jennings.

Ozil and Welbeck did play well as did The Ox and Wilshere...we looked a lot better when Cazorla came on for Ramsey who still looked really out of sorts. I was gutted when Alexis wasn't in the starting XI but having seen how he's still adapting to playing in the team I can see why. The back four all looked good. We're just not really playing that well as a team....I don't think Giroud is going to get his starting spot back but the team is still learning to play with Welbeck.

As for Spurs....I have never seen a Spurs team play with such limited ambition. After they went 1-0 up it was like watching Stoke in the Pullis heyday...rotational fowling (six yellows I think) and unbelievable amounts of time wasting...I can't ever remember the captain of a side get warned about time wasting. As for Lamela being a £30mil player....wow. Did the bloke who sent the transfer offer mis-hear and offer £30mil instead of £13mil ?

When Alexis came on it further cemented my opinion that a front three of Alexis, Ozil & Welbeck is quite some prospect.

Yes you can see defenders are st scared of him...we just didn't seem able to get him running at people.

Arteta - calf
Ramsey - hamstring

Definitely not available for the Gala and Chelski games.

That's not grammar, it's ste spelling. It's endemic in here, as noted above, which says a lot about your average goon. Evening all.

On my way back from the St Albans Beer Festival, I encountered a few homeward bound sperts on the train; four middle-aged blokes and a >50 year-old woman in a group. It all started quite friendly as I asked them if they enjoyed the game, and then suddenly the woman started singing, full pelt, what she thought of Arsenal and Arsenal fans.

Looking through my FB feed this morning and the ste that is coming from a lot of Totnum 'fan' pages is way over the mark.

There was quite a fesity atmosphere pre-game yesterday with a bit of dust up on The Holloway Road....after the game BiB had a pub just off the Holloway road surrounded which I think was more to keep Arsenal fans away than the Spurs fans in. Old school....

Every time we go to Stamford Bridge there is a row of police covering a pub opposite the ground, with lots of Chelsea fans screaming abuse at us as we go past hehe It's quite amusing, it's only a game FFS!

I consider myself an optimistic kind of chap, but i really cant see anything other then a drubbing againts Chelsea.

First spanking of the year? I really do think we'll crumble once again.

As for the spuds, they got a point from their cup final. They must be worth 2 billion now, surely?

We certainly won't be favourites given the likely injuries.

I am guessing Diaby will play in the CL.
