Just for the record all those Hull fans who were bhing about not getting credit, here is the reality.
We are performing the very worst since 1996 that they failed to beat us means they are not very good at all.
I won't insult AW but he was time expired in 2009 - every turn he's taken since has been part of an ever-decreasing circle. The performances that occasionally hint at what we might be happpen in spite of him, not because.
All things are relative, we aren't relegation candidates but with our squad half the managers in the Prem would do better for less than £8M
His time here is done. Similarly, I think Jurgen Klopp needs a new challenge and I would love to see him come to The Emirates. He's totally mental but he plays fantastic football, he's tactically astute and his players loving playing for him. Unfortunately, having to sell his best players at Dortmund appears to have caught them up this year. Dortmund are doing well in the CL but domestically not so well. We are performing the very worst since 1996 that they failed to beat us means they are not very good at all.

I think we need a change in midfield.....I think Arteta and Rosicky would make a difference....Arteta's passing at the base of midfield makes a big difference in comparison to Flamini and Rosicky just seems to push the team forward and play with a high tempo. I'd give Ramsey a rest....I think he's been rushed back and doesn't look sharp at all...I'd also have The Ox starting.
The mad professor is no mug, but his philosophy isn't working and it is reflected in the team.
When you look at the players we have, including the fringe players and the youngsters in the academy, there is a lot of talent available and the squad is bursting with potential; and this is the crux of the matter. Incoming players usually start well and then slide down into the Wenger way. The up and coming players seem too far away from first team selection and the established players appear to have become average.
Injuries, and player selection, as well as tactics (or lack of) go no further than the man in charge. It seems to me that Wenger likes his staff to be nodding dogs, and doesn't like being challenged or questioned.
Last night it was 'only' Anderlecht? So he thought he'd take a risk by putting Monreal in the centre of defence. Is that it? Is that the best we can do? This sort of st normally happens mid-game when the centrehalf goes off injured. Why not play Monreal/Gibbs as a rightback? Or stick Bellerin in? If it's 'only' Anderlecht and we have to take a risk, why not play the available rightback in the RB position?
It's just so frustrating to watch week in, week out. With Sanchez, Cazorla, Ozil, Ramsey, Wilshere, Rosicky, AOC, Gibbs... even Arteta, we should be creating enough chances to get Danny Welbeck's stats up. But even he is holding up the ball (which is fine, but who's running into space?). All the creativity you could hope for and we struggle to get shots on target? FFS

Yep. What really grates with me, as I have said many times before at this level of football EPL, Champions League etc. no matter who you play you cannot play players out of their position, you just won't get away with it. Ozil is not a winger, Ramsey is not a winger, Cazorla is not a winger, Wilshere is not a winger, Rosicky is not a winger yet he repeatedly plays them like they are. With the 4-1-4-1 formation that we seem to be playing atm the system relies on having width. The only winger, and I mean singular not plural we have at the club is Walcott. OK, maybe Sanchez and the Ox because of their pace/work rate, but that is not their preferred position. Similarly with DM. The only one we have at the club is Flamini and he is not an EPL top 4 or even top 10 club player. This is not acceptable!!!When you look at the players we have, including the fringe players and the youngsters in the academy, there is a lot of talent available and the squad is bursting with potential; and this is the crux of the matter. The lack of natural width is a BIG problem I feel. Things get too tight with the tippy tappy passing though the middle and clubs have cottoned on to this now and are packing out the middle of the park leaving us little space to play through. I personally can't wait for Walcott to come back as him on the right, Sanchez on the left could be devastating, but they need to hold the width. A 4-2-3-1 formation is what we should play. My first choice, if everyone was fit would be CF - Welbeck, AMFL - Sanchez, AMFR - Theo, AMC - Ozil (Home) Cazorla (Away), MC - Wilshere/Ramsey (Home) Ramsey/Arteta (Away), LB - Gibbs, RB - Debuchy, CB - Koscielny, CB - Mertesacker, GK - Szczesny
That formation is pretty attacking I admit, but until we get a big, strong DM in the middle of the park then I see little option.

I don't see Klopp at the Emirates anytime soon, even if the mad Frenchmen was to bugger off in two year time. You never know though.
Maybe worth keeping an eye on Koeman though and nick him from Saints in 2 years time if he gets them a top 6 or thereabouts finish this year and back it up next season.
Maybe DB10 might then be tempted back as assistant coach for a fellow cloggie......

I don't want wenger to leave on a whimper or be replaced. I'd like him to step down at the end of the season after turning this ste around personally.
He should have left last season.Easy to say now, of course. But it would have been ideal, finally win a trophy, have a bit of money and a good squad for a new manager to build on.
Ah well.

Gollum he was and Gollum he shall remain, none of this 'Skeletor' cobblers - He-Man references appeal to a much smaller demographic!!Meanwhile today is ultimate pressure day for the team, streaky win, and it's 'can't we do better against a shell-shocked side. Lose and the brown stuff really will hit the whirly thing!
