The Vidal story isn't going away (from dodgy sources) does anyone see this as happening?
Most things about this seem to fit, and I'd love to see him show the form he displayed at the WC in an Arsenal shirt.

Seems like we were after Schneiderlin but wouldn't compete on price with Man U and now Vidal looks to be favourite....quite different players but hey I am not fussy! My guess is if we get Vidal and Cech done then we'll be outing a few players Poldi, Campbell, Flamini, Ospina and then if the right striker comes up for sale they might move but I don't think we'll be chasing anyone. We've done pretty well out of Real's and Barca's cast off's the last two seasons.

Oh yes Alfa....you forgot Sanogo....no need for a striker!

the first window in a while that i have been excited about the upcoming season. if cech is worth 3-6 points a year, that puts us in contention.

Cech is deffo worth 3 to 6 points a season and gives Scezzer basically the best role model he could ask for. Vidal adds a lot of mongrel to the midfield but is no way and out and out DM....maybe Wenger thinks that's where he plays in the future.

The new fitness blokes work seemed to be showing through second half of the season....both ozila nd Wilshere came back from long term injuries looking really good. A year of just an average PL injury list would be worth six points and some years many more.

Tis undoubetdly exciting that we're getting business done early and at the right end of the market!

Finally, good news.

(I still don't get why Maureen would let him go to a top 4 club, but I'm not complaining)

I bet it isn't.

I think either Ospina or Sneezy will start.

Cech's written an open letter to Chelsea fans....thanking the fans and Abramovich....no mention for TSO. It gets better every minute!

...or John Terry, or Frank, or Didier, or Di Matteo. Oh wait, no - actually he does thank all the players, managers and coaching staff. Why do you see the fact he failed to mention one of the staff as significant ?

He's a good signing for you lot, btw.

Great signing. Can't see you getting Vidal though, just can't see it happening.

If the Gunners manage to get Vidal Arsene will obviously go with a new, untried, 2-7-1 formation with all the midfielders he will have!

Honestly can't see where he fits....unless someone is on the way out. He's more your original box to box action man who gets a decent amount of goals....he's not the DM we need. Wouldn't be surprised if it's bullst. I do think we were after Schneiderlin though.

I sometimes think Wenger would play a 0-10-0 if he thought he could get away with it.......

I was at Stamford Bridge for a John Hiatt concert last night. Good to see that Chelski hadn't had time to remove Cech from all the promo photos around the ground. At least he was wearing a red shirt . . . very tempting to paint white sleeves on it idea
