993 Targa Roof Leak

There is a regular drip of water from one side of the roof (where the glass roof meets the back window on one side of the car)when it rains. This seems to collect in a channel and is carried away through the back of the car. I have been told not to worry about it as the roof is designed to drain in this manner and this does appear to be the case. However, I am not sure whether Porsche designed the channel to carry water on a regular basis or if it is just there as a precaution. Does anybody else have this problem or any thoughts?

yup, had the problem for ages..... but didn't get rust, only on th eblack seal where the body meets the targa top.... which was replaced under warranty anyway
