I'm considering selling my S2000 next year and the Boxster S is on my shorlist. I was looking at the Porsche UK site and I'm confused by the lights. One ad lists litronic lights on a 2000 car and the indicators are white. Another 2000 car has litronic lights, but the indicators are yellow.
I've also seen 2.7's with white indicators.

Can anyone explain..?

One of two possibilities, the car was facelifted and I can't remember in which year. Alternatively someone has changed the lights from yellow indicators to white, you can do that on non litronic cars (not too sure about litronic ones) and the same goes for the rear lamps, you can fit the latest smoked lenses to an older car

Standard earlier than MY2003 have amber repeaters, amber lenses on headlight, amber tail lights

Litronic earlier than MY2003 have amber repeaters but clear lenses on headlight, amber tail lights

All MY2003 and later have clear repeaters and clear headlights, clear tightlights

Repeaters are cheap enough to replace, tail lights not too bad either, but replacing headlights gets costly.

Hope that helps

I agree with Wintermute...

Mine is a 2000 Boxster S with Litronic. I had clear on the front, but amber on the rear which I have now changed to clear.
