Just grab the factory image and flash it yourself? It only takes a few minutes.

The only downside is that you have to re-install your apps, but it's not a huge job if you're desperate for the new OS.

Same here. Very annoying, but I understand the logic in a staggered roll-out.

Ten minutes after I posted the above, it came through.

Really liking it so far - few nice features and a much nicer look. Hope that Project Volta delivers the rumoured battery life improvements.

I've found battery to be pretty good so far.

The only thing that gave me a headfk was no gallery and having Photo.

Photos is a bit different. But if you go into the 'Photos' app, then press the three line menu button on the top left corner, you can scroll down and select 'On Device'...which pretty much functions as the old 'Gallery' did.

Overall I really like it. I like 'Priority' mode, but the lack of a full 'silent' mode is dumb - probably addressed in an update in the coming weeks.

Wah, mine has not come through yet.

In other news, for those waiting for the Nexus 6 (like me), you can now add the Blue 32GB model to your "Wishlist" in the Google Play Store, which is progress from "Coming soon".

See page 3 of the Android 5.0 thread, there is a Full Silent mode. It's just the OS is a wee bit different to use so we activate it differently.

I read on Android central that if you select none, then you also mute your alarm!

This is correct, it even warns you of that fact too.

Just got Lollipop on mine. Too quite a while to install, probably something to do with the new runtime.
Looks good so far, no issues connecting to wifi. Just waiting for the Smart Unlock update so I can set to keep from needing then pin when at home.

anyone noticed that when you have a locked screen, you can swipe down from the top and put the phone into flight mode...my concern with this is that if you lose your phone, anyone can put it into flight mode, therefore you wont be able to remote lock or erase it!

Are there any settings that disable this?

Android police have raised this with google as they have the exact same concern, they are waiting to see if they retract the option from the lockscreen in an update.

Decided to install it myself on my nexus 5, big white background to everything kinda spoils the slick look.

Updated last night. Not liking the fact that I have to swipe up before unlocking. An unnecessary extra step to unlock the phone
