Just got a reminder through from porsche saying the car is due for its 1st annual service, yet the service book clearly states 12,000miles or 2 years.
Spoke to porsche but they adamant it is yearly,
and say the warranty will become void.
The cars done 7000 miles in its first year and i was going to leave it until 12,000 miles.
Anyone else experianced this?

That old trick....yes, it should be done annually, but you can ask for the "annual check" which can be done if the car has done under 9,000 miles - this will receive a stamp in the logbook and qualify for Full Service History. This will be much cheaper and doesn't involve an oil change - you can then get an independent to do this for a lot cheaper, or do it yourself.

If you want to speak to someone who has done this, look up either TopBear or alan on www.porschaforum.com
