Got Caught 120 in a 50 zone
Been a few weeks now and nothing also didnt sign anything.......
22:30 Driving in a 30 zone and a BMW 328i sitting rifgt up my ar5e so i put my foot down a bit upto 40/45 came to a roundabout hopeing he would go a different way but he followed me ..Now in a 50 zone,Still sitting up my **** so i put my foot down to about 60/65 he still sits right be hind me so i ease of and he over takes me ... Tinking thats it hes gone as he pulls in front of me he slams on his brakes full on so i drop down to 2nd and nail it passed him up into 3rd and nail it to get rid of him not realising there was a marked cop car behind me he caught up about half a mile or so away.....
And he heard me then saw me then after a while caught up with me ...
Asked what my reason was i explained the BMW and didnt know what he was playing at car jacking road rage or what...
They gave me a stern telling off and spent the next 30 mins looking and sitting in the car ...
No producer or ticket or anything not even for no front plate......
He said he has had the BMW before and he had never pulled over a viper before
That was lucky ........Thats more than lucky.....
There are a few nice cops out there just be NICE........

Gotta post this one in speeding, plod and the law.

Usually doing 120 in a 50 would be at least a good few points and a fine, if not a ban?

I'm surprised they let you off when you mentioned the BMW thing, they might have thought you made it up and with no evidence of it, I mean like someone else could make it up but would they be let off - this might be something other people will try in the future? But I suppose it depends on the cop, he wasn't exactly cynical or ruthless.

Well just don,t try the same in N.Z.Got a speeding ticket in the post today!(SEE MY POST ON THE N.Z SITE)I have always prided myself that over 8 years i have managed to travel a high speeds without getting caught/spotting speed traps but make no mistake, the cops here are very very crafty.Sadly it seems that most of there time is spent in the pursuit of any cars over the limit. The roads are straight, empty and mainly run through unbuilt up populated areas yet 100KPH (60mph) is your lot,you get a let off up to 109KPH but over that and its game over,so they did me for 112KPH in a 100 zone.Plus the camara was set up off road looking down onto a long straight!Totally out of order. What hope have i of keeping the Viper below 60MPH !This is a serious development in my N.Z Life as speed is my life (in a safe enviroment)can,t face not being able to blast at 150mph as i can in the U.K once i,ve done a few low passes back and forth to check out the area!

The cop car was behind me after the bmw overtook me so he saw every thing..Which is why i was supprised he pulled me and not the BMW.....
