It's good to see quality film actors doing more TV work.

Do you think I need to have seen series one first, or can I just jump in to series 2?
You really need to see series 1.

Just watching this now...is very good..but as has been said Merc must have paid a few bob !!
Annoyingly they have dubbed a AMG burble on a CLS 5.5 which would be far more muted - why not get him the read deal?

I thought the first episode of S2 was a bit gash IMO. It tailed off a bit for me toward the end of S1, I’d hoped like a few others it seems that it would be more about the fixing than his family back story etc. Will stick with it for now.

Two whole days eh?

Don't suppose you paid to watch it either... I guess we're all so lucky it's completely free to make programmes like this.

I was thinking it doesn't seem to be as on point as last season.

I find it’s very garbled, it’s as if they’re constantly just trying to find ways of justifying having John Voight in it. Doesn’t really have much to do with the fixing side of things which would have been its greatest appeal instead it’s just turning into another gangster/mob type show.

My thoughts entirely, there also doesn't seem to be any story arc forming for the 2nd season, other than introducing matey from The Simpsons and Bunk Moreland to the cast.

? Micky's a great character if not a good choice as a guest at a group therapy session.

Anyway an enjoyable series but the last episode last night crammed a bit too much in.

Him and his story irritate the fk out of me. I don't see the value it adds at all. Apart from the back story of course.

Was all just a bit ‘meh’ in the end. There’s something good there underneath it all IMO but after watching two seasons I’ve come to the conclusion it’s way off the mark in terms of execution. In general this season was just that bit too far fetched drifting from one story arc to another. When I think about one of my favourite ever TV shows-The Sopranos you could say at times it was very far fetched the difference being the execution and standard pof acting was pretty faultless and they generally nailed the art of making unlikeable characters likeable. Mickey is just an @rsehole yet his family still entertain his presence his story arc this season was just spoof I thought in the end. A load of the characters are just annoying, his wife being one of the prime culprits.

A decent premise is still there, I still find the title character reasonable interesting. Can’t see where it will go from here.
