Be honest. How do you rate the Saab TTiD as a family car?

Dad has a 2010 9-3 1.9 TiD estate, I very much agree on the shockingness of the interior build quality. Whenever someone sits in the (albeit quite comfy) leather seats, there's an almighty creak from the plastics somewhere, and that is carried on in every other part of the interior. It looks good and looks like it should feel solid, but then you reach out and touch the dial and just feel disappointed.

I've also never heard an engine that sounds more like a tractor than it.

Love the styling though (no really, actually think it looks very good), and the boot can take a very large load with ease.

I'd have one if they were £4-5k, but can't say I'd pay much more than that.

Good point about the noise of the engine. Does sound unrefined
