Oil or Water temp? If its Oil at 90ish degrees C, can't see how that would be a problem.

Examples of good used low mileage coupes in the right spec. must be drying up and hard to find.

I've just received an unsolicited email from a P'her asking if I want to sell.

Yep, same here. I wouldn't want to be in the market for one now. And from my experience, I'd wager that of those currently advertised, a fair percentage no longer exist.

These are a lot rarer than I thought in the UK - looking at the how many left website, registered cars peaked at 289 in 2012 for the standard coupe. It's currently at 278. This is against worldwide sales of just over 11k, so the UK volumes were relatively tiny.

All other variations have peaked this year - there's 75 standard roadsters, 15 Blackies, 12 GT's (roadster and coupe) and 5 final editions (again roadster and coupe). Looks like there's a lot more roadsters for sale as a percentage of registered cars than coupes.

Probably, I received an e-mail from him last night, good luck to him and top marks for his efforts.

There are only more roadsters for sale at the moment because it's the time of year when you tend not to use them so much and consider selling. They are the better car (in my opinion) and far more rare and have not depreciated (from actual paid prices) as much as the coupe.

Wasn't me, however that's why I've just logged in - anyone selling, please get in touch..

As Numptie mentioned - have any of you lads had offers from dealers trying to buy yours?

It is very nice however red is not my colour.

Very well specced - says all option ticked and it doesn't look far wrong. "Leggy' at 27k miles though!

I have had a couple of dealers call me in the last few weeks to see if I would sell mine, no firm offers but they suggested it would be more than I paid for it brand new.

I have had the same email. Thought it was a scam so deleted it.
I will be taking mine down to Bicester on Sunday with Mb club anyone else going?
I will coming from Nottingham, if anyone else is going maybe we could meet up at Leicester Forest East.
Would be quite a sight seeing 4/5 SLS's in convoy.

So far i have had 2 dealers and 2 guys on PH ask to buy mine.
Like others i thought the PH emails were a scam so did not reply.
Appologies if it was you who emailed.
Anyway my SLS not for sale at the moment.
I can see only a couple of genuine gullwings for sale at the moment
and the prices appear to be rising by the week.

I read this week that the retail price for the new AMG GT is £95k
Is this true, does anyone know at the moment.?

Yes, I think the standard car is £95k....but then you'd surely want the S smile
