Why is the love of my life pretend to be so fking pathetic ?

I'm 120 miles away. She tells me on the phone that there is a warning light on her dash board. The warning light is the tyre pressure warning. What should she do?

I say: Look at the tyres. are any actually flat ?

She says: They all look the same.

I say: Most likely a slow puncture. Get the tyre pressure gauge out of the boot, and check the pressures.

If one is less than 25 psi but more than than 15 psi, drive it to Pauls Tyres, and get him to fix it, or replace it if it can't be fixed.

She says...............

Anyone like to guess?

Note Paul is a nice guy and does a decent job at a decent price so deserves a plug.

Either 'how do I open the boot?' or ' What's a tyre pressure gauge?'

it's not tyre pressure light - it's handbrake on... or she's turned traction control off or something along those lines?

No it will be.

it's yellow and looks like a flat tyre and it was on when we bought the car, and I reset the pressures and reset it with the reset button whilst she was in the car 2 months ago.

No ideas as to what she might have said, but you might find this site of help over the next few weeks........

Perhaps the other half has read this and the OP is now in A&E.

Harsh, given your OP leads us to think that response is entirely plausible.

So she's useless at this sort of stuff so she needs a man to do it.

So does mine.

But as a bonus for being all manly and sorting out her car related woes, in return she does all sorts of nice things for me.

Yes. All sorts of things.

Oh yes.

Edit, she's just brought me my pipe and slippers!

Life in the fast lane eh?
