You have even provided a picture of the knives you think she will use. How thoughtful.

Don't even think of doings it with alloy parts

It can completely screw up the coatings

I've often wondered what would happen if you got an old one and instead of connecting it to a water feed you fed it with kerosene (heating oil)?

As its excellent as a degreaser

Ooops she's up earlier than expected............

Mrs BC "I'm sure I loaded those plates in the diswasher last night but you've removed them and washed them"

BC "well we are out today and I had to wash up my breakfast stuff"

Mrs BC " couldn't you have put that in the diswasher too?"

BC "I could but it had other stuff in it"

Mrs BC then looks in the dishwasher and wanders off "muttering bloody car parts"

Went well all things considered - well better than when I used the oven to stove enamel a motorcycle cyl head - it proper stunk for weeks........

Using the oven to cure polyurethane bushes doesn't go down too well either.

Using the washing machine (without powder) to tenderise octopus as seen on fishing village quaysides in Greece.

Didn't end well.

If you fold the seats down on a Toyota Auris, it makes an excellent storage unit.
