would any one recomend these people for a new exhaust,i have been told 20bhp more from them and are they pricey and well built.

hmmm, you'd probably only see 20bhp with a remap, and you'd be lucky at that

you never know how much was the bare remap and how much was the exhaust

they are moderately priced from memory, I thought the quality of the 993 system I saw was OK - but the chrome tips started to yellow quite soon after fitment and were not as nice as the OEM design

certainly sounded nice tho'

If you mean Hayward and Scott (based in Essex and specialising in Porsche mainly) fabricated the exhaust on my much modified E21 BMW. This has a tuned length extractor 6 into 2 system- stainless steel and unequal length secondary lengths to get uneven harmonics for good NVH/sound quality. The exhaust note sounds absolutely amazing now, incredible, better then my 993 for sure, very pure, like a Group C racer, however, I attribute this to my instruction:
I was less then happy with some of the work and circumstances.
