Evolution Vs Creation
Discussion
Surely this is some sort of joke?
Even fervent educated relgionists believe in the principles of evolution and pretend the Garden of Eden is an allegory, don't they?
I am, of course, excluding religionist nutcases who believe anything said by a guy with a beard or shiny trinkets and a knack for chanting.
Creation makes no sense at all.
Ok someone created us, which would mean that someone would have to be more complex than us.
Its like saying heres a machine, and trying to justify that it was made by a more complex machine, which would mean it would just go on and on when trying to find the origin of the machine maker ie impossible.
Theres evidence for evolution, wheres the evidence from creation?

That all relies on us being the most complex being. Ok someone created us, which would mean that someone would have to be more complex than us.

I doubt we are.

Could we possibly have a rational debate about this?
Probably half of us could...
What's the mechanism that naturalism offers to get from the simple ( goo) to the complex ( you) ?Probably half of us could...
You've got life, you can have that for the sake of the argument. (This does of course raise other questions.) How does this naturalistic mechanism, whatever it is, create new functionally specified genetic information *on the scale required* to get from goo to you making all of the novel structures and forms in living things along the way. You can have as long as you want. Remembering what NS does and does not do; similarly with mutations.
