Hi guys,

I am a long time PH member, but I haven’t been posting much lately as I’m in the US and have been more active on American car forums. Anyway, my wife and I are planning a trip to Europe for some time in April 2014. (See the link below).

I have long been a huge TVR fan. My favorite car of all time is the Cerbera, but I have never actually seen one in person, and I would really love to have the chance to see one and go for a ride, if possible, while my wife and I are visiting England in April. I am not sure yet exactly when we will be there; we are just in the planning stage.

If any TVR owners in the London area would be interested in giving me and my wife a little TVR experience while we are visiting, please let me know. It would be an amazing experience for me! I have been watching the same Top Gear and PH member-made videos for years now, and I’m about ready to see one in real life! haha

London isn't the best place for a car like that though there are quite a few London owners. If you find yourself deciding to vist the city of Cambridge (1 hour max by train) then I'd happily show you what a 4.3l T350 can do smile

There's plenty of great things to see in England outside of London, through Londoners might not agree wink although it makes it harder to just use the train.

Would be worth checking out if there are any TVR Car Club events on when you are over. I'm sure local branches would be very happy to show you some cars.

I'm in Nottingham so not that close to London (by UK standards) but would be happy to help you connect over here. Feel free to PM me.

Maybe check out what night there is a TVR meet at the Ace Café?

Bound to be a reasonable selection there?

I think it's possible to get to by Tube.

Because I'd like one! It'll have to be in bloody good condition though, and the one i was interested in turned out to be a bit of a dog.

Did you see that offer to you on the other thread?
The guy has a Assetto Corsa, bit special by all accounts, good luck.

If you let me know closer to your time of travel I can see if we can get some of the Surrey mob together at a pub. I'll bring my Cerbera too wink

Well I am lucky enough to work for Heathrow and my Cerb is nearly always in the office car park by the airport. If you are flying into London Heathrow then pm me and I am sure I can sort you out (and even show off luggage capacity) with some Cerbera time - they are very special

Original Poster here.

My wife and I did not get to do the trip last year because we had a lot going on. However, we’re going to make the trip this year, for sure!
We are planning to be in London in a week. We arrive on Monday, April 20th and will be leaving Thursday, April 23rd.

I’m wondering if anyone near the London area with a TVR might be interested in meeting up and maybe taking us for a ride? Tuesday and Wednesday, any time, would be best for us since we might be tired from travelling on Monday.
I apologize for the short notice. I’m emailing a few of the owners, who replied to my thread a while ago, to see if we can make plans with someone. But I’m not sure if they still view the forums, so I’m posting this new message.

I used to own a Noble M12 and now own a Panoz Esperante. But I really love TVR and would love to see some and go for a ride; unfortunately I can't buy a newer one here in the USA. My wife likes cars, too, and we are working on a classic Mustang together.

Best regards,

Trevor
