Looks like I have been ripped off for the 10210 Pirate Ship
Gutted
Got to wait a few days before I can fill in the Police report, but nothing will come of it anyway.
First time in 7+ years of buying and selling that it looks like I will have an unrecoverable situation. Not a bad batting average I suppose!
Its just not cricket to scam people with Lego!

We can all go round and sort them out....
One foot and leg done. I only did one initially to check for oddities in the building instructions. The foot went without a hitch but the instructions got a bit silly with the leg, with pieces floating in the air only to be connected in a later step and gaping holes filled in later steps resulting in having to take things apart to insert the missing piece, etc. It wasn't that bad overall but a sign of things to come when i get to more complicated sections.
Now to do the other 3.
It's gonna be massive!

Tht's gonna be massive BK, thanks for posting the build details etc. I'm surprised that it looks like the leg will attached with only one axle, it seems like there'll be a lot of weight resting on just those axles.
They are known to be a little fragile in the balance department.Bipolar Kittens said:

I did the remaining 3 legs and feet yesterday, I was building pretty much solidly from around 2pm to 2am this morning with a 2 hour break for Gogglebox and food. I built them i parallel this time, it was a bit of a slog just doing the same thing multiple times but i think the end result is fantastic, the quality and attention to detail is way up there, I wish I had the talent to do my own builds. They are quite solid too, one survived a drop from waist height with minimal damage. My spreadsheet tells me there are 2,120 parts are used in the feet and legs.
I'll get started on the body toady, unfortunately i'm getting dragged to a birthday party tomorrow so i doubt there will much progress this weekend.

I want that MP4/4.
Seeing as you need your TV back on the cupboard I am claiming first dibs on it!!!!
Failing that - from where did you get the plans?
The plans you don't download as such, you access them online for a fee from Mocplans.Seeing as you need your TV back on the cupboard I am claiming first dibs on it!!!!

I've decided that I am going to part with it in any case, I've had my fun building it and its already gathering dust! It actually worked out more pricy than I originally estimated, closer to the £200 mark...

You should display it at some lego shows through the year. Would be nice to have them all built up and on display at shows.I've decided that I am going to part with it in any case, I've had my fun building it and its already gathering dust! It was a slow build day today, I struggled with the wheels, the parts in LDD are different so I had to contact Pete for some clarification. LDD was on form with the building guide, it was proper random, truth be told, it was a bit of a bd!
Anyway, here's what will be the underside of the body, some front or rear sections plus some random parts called for in the early steps that still haven't found a home yet after 196 steps.
