Good looking wheel - think it will work well on the XC. Veritable bargain too for OZ.

Perish the thought!
I was surprised you were thinking of getting rid of the ultimate mommy/daddy-wagon just after having a baby!

My bro has had an XC90 for years - he has 4 kids and he really cannot find anything to replace it. Well he bought a VW caravelle with a view to replacing the XC90 but his wife just cannot give it up!

Those are the best you've had on the car yet. One question though, Volvo Centre caps?

That makes sense, possibly Gel overlays over the OZ caps in place? Not sure on how well they would hold up though... Even without they look very pukka indeed. I'm guessing this means the bus will be staying for a while longer now?

I get through tyres too fast to consider 20's!

Windows XP!? Wow, have not seen a system running that for a while. Run straight up or on a VM?

Is it a simple replacement for a DPF temp sensor? Seems odd one would throw the car into limp mode, I'm guessing as a regen of the DPF can't be performed then so low performance to prevent damage...

Do you have a genuine DICE box or an eBay special? I keep thinking about buying one but hear very mixed reports about which ones work and which don't.

I've just ordered one, hopefully it'll be OK when it arrives. I'm hoping that I can finally change the headlight switch behavior on my C70 to be able to turn the lights off, as I had done with my V70 years ago.

Reading the thread currently, only on page 6 but saw you talking about the Ocean Race parts. There is one for sale on eBay currently http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2008-08-Volvo-XC90-4-4-V...

Finished now. Great thread yet again.

Quick question, as you know I've got an XC70 ocean race. I quite like the idea of the alu trim for the rear bumper. Any ideas if I could do this?

Great read and makes me miss our XC90 even more :-(

Prices over here seem to have strengthened in the last 18 months since we sold ours.
Tentatively looking at getting another now my wife's commute is being reduced from 30 miles to 3 miles.

Meneer I do like the cut of your jib re the XP diagnostic laptop, Thule bike rack and the "Wat doe je!" shouting at the kids hehe

The Thule stuff is expensive but so worth it. A good few years back I bought a Thule bike rack and it is such good quality. Don't use it much anymore but I cannot bare to part with it and am considering adding a bar of some kind to the Prius to allow me to use it again, just in case.

Fingers are crossed re your door repair and I will be interested to know if the dashcam helps with that. Good luck smile

Nice. I missed out on a 2nd hand set for the XC70 last week. Might need to see if Volvo still sell them.
