Hello all,

Have been reading about these and was wondering what their story is in the today's world?

Anyone got one or ever lived in one? What are they like? American style Trailer Trash or fun Eco living?

Their prices seem to vary a lot, but does look like "disposable income" at the lower end of the market and even the top end does not seem stupidly high. However, given Spain's economy, still has a bit more drop?

Thoughts/Opinions?

TIA

There are some cave shops, in Citadella in Menorca. I wandered in out of interest, and they are very very humid, and smell musty.

I would prefer a log cabin.

I lived in Granada for short while during student years. A girl friend of a more hippy persuasion rented a cave house.

Whilst hewn from rock straight into the hillside it was a proper little dwelling with front door, seperate rooms etc

Others were more basic but plenty of cool young people hanging out smoking hash etc i remember going to get fresh moorish bread each morning.

Good times.
