According to this article on INRNG, the UCI changed the rule so that riders can use paths as long as it’s safe to do so.

Just a quick heads up, second best one day race coming up this Saturday....
- Strade Bianche?? took me sometime to find that out!! Best contest thus far was AC V Froome abeit not a one day classic.
Whatever race it is the UCI need to think long and hard about adding a load of boring laps in the race near the end.

I agree entirely place to place races are the cornerstone of the history of European cycling this new fad for lap after lap of a circuit is I presume for a TV audience.Best contest thus far was AC V Froome abeit not a one day classic.

Paris-Nice should be fun, some great rides in the prologue, Kwiatkowski looked sharp, as did Dennis (who must have thought 8kms was a bit of fun folllowing the hour record!) Boom and Degenkolb.
Cannodale-Garmin look strong in depth as do BMC. Really hope Talansky and TvG have good years free from injury.
The most interesting comment was from Kelly though who said that Astana will be takling Aru to the Giro with just 20 race days in him this year...

Shame that Froome has pulled out of Tirreno too, it would have been good to see Froome vs Quinatana vs Nibbles vs Contador at least once....
Boonens fall was really bad luck especially at this stage of the season and I was surprised to see Wiggo lose his rag whilst at the head of the peloton bringing back Voeckler and DelapLace
