I do feel for you chaps, three managers in the last year so there's something wrong at the club and it probably runs deeper than the manager. One wonders who will come in now? Indeed it looks like the owners expect José Mourinho and will get José Carreras because they think he'll only be a tenner.
Magath had his chance , clearly the guy is moonstruck.
Kit Symons is a good choice for the interim , knows the club inside out and played at all levels , let's hope he can plug up one of the poorest defenses we've had .
Meanwhile , can anyone throw any light on the B. Ruiz situation as I'm overseas based and don't get the information as easily as you guys living in the UK .

mikial, Magath had said that Ruiz wanted to leave in the summer, as such he wasn't prepared to play him, or any other player who was not committed to the club.
I hope Kit is not shanghaied by such nonsense and plays him.
Good luck Kit, Moyes please for the long term.
Pulis has too much baggage and would only be acceptable if he explained fully his side of the Gillingham problem-era stuff satisfactorily, and perhaps met Matthew Fox's family in private.

Thanks for the information silver, I've just seen a news clip with Kit training the squad , among the squad is Ruiz .
Moyes in the mix huh ? , admired him at Everton because he talked sense but the facts remain that whoever takes the reigns has a very difficult task ahead ( excuse me for stating the bleeding obvious ) and I'm not convinced the assembled squad are good enough to compete and become a winning team , I sincerely hope I'm completely wrong with all my heart.

Yeah, that was all over twitter last night, bizarre read! I'll take a madcap all day if the results are there. They weren't and the defiant "I'll fix it" claims, sounded the same as the ones last year saying we'd stay up - pretty much right 'til the end.If you have a few minutes - this is quite cleverly written!

A WIN!! A WIN!! Take that, Doncaster! ;-)
Sounds like we did our usual trick though, make it look straightforward then contrive to struggle and do our best to throw it away at the end.
Last 16, eh? I think I'm right in saying we've never made the semi finals of this Cup in our history. Wemberlee, Wemberlee.................wouldn't that be nice.

I can't be the only one thinking it would be unwise to remove Kit Symons from his current position. In a short space of time he has re- invented , re-energised and inspired the squad to a different level. Probably only temporary but now up to 19 th after beating Charlton but very rewarding seeing us away from the anchor spot in the division.
Thing is, we're a team that should be getting results with the squad we have and the cash we've spent. We were favourites to go straight back up - the bookies aren't in the business of getting it spectacularly wrong.
So Symons gets us promoted, then what? Can't imagine he has anything like the experience to survive in the top flight. We end up near the bottom them look for a Hughton or similar with experience to keep us up, while they could have been the one to deliver the whole package from day one.
As the romantic notion of a 'Fulham man' gathers momentum with results, I guess I'm finding myself more and more in the minority. I, for one, hope they are thorough with their search and the weight of fans' support isn't the deciding factor.

I've held fire writing this but it's plainly obvious that certain members of the defensive squad are well below the standard required , in short Dan Burn is next to useless . Any attacker with pace and/or maneuverability can turn him inside out .
His shortcomings aside , he is not the only one , the defence as a unit is probably the poorest in the division ,this represents a huge challenge for the present management as they need wholesale changes to be a force .
I'm sure The manager is aware of this , by my reckoning at least five quality defenders are needed .

Seem to be chatting to myself these days in here...
Big family group up for the Brighton game as we're a split family between the two sides. We were hopeless. To be fair, Brighton were nearly as poor, but probably deserved the 3 points.
We had absolutely no idea of how to move the ball from one end of the pitch to the other. It was a horrible game to watch, no one working hard, just like watching the players who had lost heart for Jol. Frustration all around the ground (good turnout tho) and we are playing like a team that should be looking down the table not up.
Wasn't a fan of the Symons appointment and hopefully will be proved wrong, but at the moment he looks out of his depth.

I suppose mid-table is better than sitting at the bottom, but we're really not going anywhere. I feared Symons wouldn't have the breadth of knowledge to do much in the modern game.
Appreciate it's gossip, but I'd take Steve Bruce all day...
