A good if somewhat fortunate start on Saturday for Fulham and now Scott Parker added to the squad. Arsenal at home this coming Saturday , Fulham have the momentum so would defeating Arsenal push Wenger deeper into crisis ?

Back to normal then , a fortuitous win on the first day followed by two predicable loses . Given that it takes time to gell a squad it's important to produce some sort of good performence during the process. Apparently Fulham have been awful thus far judging by the written reports . I can't judge because I have no acces to the premiership at the moment, however , while not critical it's important that they produce a performance of merit today.

Fulham seem to take an age to get forward (or back for that matter) and teams learn that quickly and can attack without the threat of a rapid counter. I'm an armchair fan these days, but my lad (7) goes where possible with my dad and loves it. I was hoping for more points from the north east (despite being 'bad travellers') at the start of the season. I don't see anything spectacular this year at all, might even be one of the seasons we're glad there's a few worse teams in the league!

Good result against Everton may just be what's needed . Onwards and upwards , Cardiff Saturday and three points imperative in my view. Lets hope the removal of THAT statue brings good fortune.

Candidate for goal of the season , Jol job saved and goal line technology used for the first time in Premier league ( not sure about the last point , read online Mirror report so take with pinch of salt ) all this results in Fulham posting a good away victory .

The first goal was a wonderful piece of skill & terrific technique from Sidwell for the 2nd & Berbatov is like an old limo oozing class,

Looking very grim for Palace.

Great to see a big smile on BMJ'S face, he's still loved amongst us spuddies.

Agreed, that's not just a goal of the season goal, that's in the best ever goal discussion.

Ok, enough . Not so great , a lucky bounce is all ..goalkeeper unsighted and distracted by the fire alarm, , probably offside too.
I've seen better goals scored at Hackney Marshes after chuck out time.

He's only on loan !

Some would say the sooner he departs the better. I suspect the new owner is about to announce Jol has his full support , a sure sign he will be going .

Don't care as long as someone tells the players to stop fking around passing outside the box and stop passing it to each other and chip the fker in and get it to a striker.

The amount of times I have watched them make excellent progress only for them to camp outside the box and not a single person want to cross it in is unbelievable.

Especially when the opposition take the ball off them, run up the wing, bush, bash, bosh… a goal.

Think I have now done 5 games at home (5 of us own 2 tickets so get 8 games each) and I thought I was jinxing them at one stage.

Crossing fingers for some new coach impact tomorrow v Swansea. My seats are in Johnny Haynes stand near the cottage not far from the bloke that brings a baby in with pink ear defenders on. COYW!

Jol sacked, had to be today or tomorrow. Can't play any worse than recently, so let's hope Meulensteen has more of an impact now he's leading the team.

It was on the cards I think. They were speculating on his future on MOTD last light. They were talking as if his fate was already sealed.

Maybe , just maybe Sendoros will be shown the door as well .

Instant impact and a response from the players is imperative I feel, the alternative is a slow descent and inevitable relegation, with that in mind I tip Fulham to rip into the Spuds re energised , heads high and take all 3 points !

I would like to see it but can't somehow. What is the thoughts of the cottager faithful on the new guy?
