Try Smith and Wollensky. On the main strip between MGM and Planet Hollywood. My favourite steak place by far. Make sure you go there hungry.

As above, SW @ The Wynn is absolutely amazing steak. Pricey though! Me and the OH had 2 steak and chips, 2 starters each and 2 cocktails each. $240!

Please, please take my word for it... The absolute pinnacle of quality steak restaurants is Ruths Chris Steakhouse. There is one on Las Vegas Boulevard. It's down to the equipment they use to seal in the flavour and the quality of the beef they use. It's not cheap by American standards, but American's would agree that Ruths Chris is THE steak restaurant, and American's know about steak!

I was never ever a steak eater until march this year after my GF forced me to try a bit of hers in here. Went back a few nights later and what a taste my mouth is watering thinking of it. Tried lots of steaks back here in the uk since, None measure up frown

Ruth's is good and I would recommend in other US city's, but in Vegas, you cannot beat Gallaghers in New York, New York.

As you can tell - plenty of choice in Vegas for steak!

I have not been to Dubai for nearly 20 years - but even getting a steak over there then was a mission! The 1 McDonalds never even sold beef! I know it has changed a lot since then.

I have done Ruth Chris in Hong Kong, and was not bad. The best in Hong Kong. Also had in Boston - and very good. The US is the best place in world for Steak in my opinion.

Binions Steakhouse downtown is also worth a visit if you're in the area. Don't let the casino put you off the Steakhouse on the top floor is fantastic. Great view of downtown, proper traditional atmosphere and a lot less than you'd pay on the Strip.

As noted above the Steakhouse at Circus Circus is also well regarded but again don't be put off by the state of the hotel itself.

Nowhere near - Craft Steak or Bistecca are so much better.
