Thought it would be a good idea to get a list of all the independent that people use.

Also any reviews.

Might be good to make this a stick perhaps?

However a proper specific thread could be better rather than a FAQ

Really? How?

The FAQ is at the top of the page and can be constantly referred to, rather than lost amongst the rest of the chaff.

Doesn't specifically say "inderpendant garage list" as a title that's all.

We also have enough stickies, click on the page and half of it is stickies!

Is your list just a list of indies or ones you've personally used..? Big difference.

No, it doesn't.

But 'where should I get my car serviced?' Is definitely a 'Frequently Asked Question'. Where, if you click on it, you will see that one of the first titles is 'Independent Garages'. Wasn't too hard, was it?

The 'Stickies' on independents should be listed by region. I have no idea by looking at the list which one is nearest to Portsmouth. I could use Harwoods in Chichester but would at least like to know of any local independents that fellow AM owners have used before and recommend.

Also, as a DB9 (Manual) owner I was interested in the gearbox issue (Especially when cold) so I clicked on the link under the heading of 'Gear Box Issues'..... Very useful if I wanted to by a Sofa in Derby..

Rather than sit at your keyboard moaning about it, do a search, find the relevant thread(s) and update the FAQ's then!

Thanks, not put off at all.
Its an interesting thread because, as you can imagine, all TVR Garages are Indi. (at the moment).
It had me wondering about potential support for me in South Cheshire asside from Wilmslow.
