So pleased for you Tony! You are supremely fortunate to have sourced one. Our RS is arriving at my OPC tomorrow.
How about a re-run upto Scotland in 2016 ?
Have a great day with it!
Yes I am fortunate, had almost given up.
I'm passing Tewkesbury tomorrow pm ,so might pop in to see the RS ,also the 3 GT4's in the showroom.

I'm not sure of the facts - so please don't hold me to them - but I did hear from someone inside Porsche (and who would know) that the Factory were ‘disappointed’ by the number of cars coming up for sale at inflated prices in the UK and so they have decided to increase supply to de-heat the market (and increase their profits no doubt).

I was told this as I am on the waiting list and am hoping for a new allocation should additional cars materialise…I am lead to believe there is a very good chance I will get a car.

Porsche has often made short runs like the 4.0 which have immediatelyi inflated. I doubt that they would increase supply. Limiting it just increases the interest in the next one

That was before they had to help fund a billion $ emissions bill.

The 7.2RS is likely the far better comparison with the 991 RS than the 4.0 where they were already committed to the limited build numbers from the start.

Been to see mine today, it had only been at Tewkesbury for a few hours. I was amazed to see that the whole car was covered in what I can only describe as a Zip up suit. I have never seen transport protection applied in such a way before. So very pleased and relieved.

I wonder what becomes of the suit , it would possible double up as an indoor car cover ?

Irrespective of the amazing drive this car offers, is this a "no brainer" from an investment point of view? Reason I ask is that I can't imagine these are cancellations, but surely more allocations.
