How to restore a worn steering wheel
Discussion
So the OH's 03 plate Lupo has done 65k but the steering wheel looks like its done twice that!
It is just the standard plastic jobby. It's worn down all around the wheel surface and looks very tired.
Is there a good product on the market that will restore it? Assume 'back to black' etc will just leave me with black palms Any Arthur Daley tips?
Or might it just be easier to swap it with a Lupo/Polo wheel from a scrappy?
and no it hasn't been clocked

I'm pretty sure that would cost more than the car is worth http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUTO-PAINT-SEM-BUMPER-TEXTURE-COATING-BLACK-CAR-PAINT-/330523108123
Also available from most paint shops.
This works well if not perfectly on leather steering wheel such as VW, Golf, Audi, BMW etc
Things we have to do to sell a car!
