Just follow this clown's maths. Sorted.

BMW E36 328I (190ps when new?)

"m50 throttle body which adds about 20bhp
25 inlet manifolds which adds about 20 bhp
m3 evo exhaust manifolds which adds 30 bhp
m3 stainless steel exhaust with decat section which adds about 20bhp
ews removed and remapped and recoded ecu done after all parts were on the car which adds 30 bhp and 60 bars of tork (WTF!!) alpine software
k&n panel air filter and air box restrictor removed whichs adds 10 bhp on
all done by garage avers racers

so as you can see its a very fast car around 280-330 bhp in total from the engine"

That's some amusing nova maths right there. I used to have a 328i which I built to almost the same spec, but mine had US M3 cams too. I would have guessed that it had around 250bhp.

Sorry but

The starting bid is slightly optimistic.

That's the way it works in Gran Turismo on the PS3, so must be right wink. But no carbon prop shaft? Bit lame really.

In reality a lot of remap claims are the same, people seem to assme the highest bhp without any evidence to prove, even rr roads are dubious.

Oil temp gauge?

Is that a sport thing or am I just missing out with my crappy mpg doohicky?

I've actually seen that car in the flesh. I quite liked the wheels. Seemed to be missing its interior. TBH £1600 isn't too bad if the car is straight underneath and well serviced, the LSD is worth a few hundred quid on its own.

M3s had them, he has likely swapped the gauge cluster for an M3 one (Note the higher top speed). I bet it doesn't work....
