Just had a quick look at the two games and I'd say DC has PC licked in the weather stakes, the rain, especially on camera looks far more realistic. Things may change though by the time is launches.
I'd say so as well, few more from me

They have already released some free DLC, all the issues are now resolved so why is it Junk?
Handling is very basic, as you progress the tracks or courses are imo not suitable for the hypercars, rubber banding ai is a joke and it still takes 5 mins in between finishing a online game and starting a new one.

It does look nice though and the weather scenes are very good but I like to race not take pics of cars when its raining.

Can you just drive around from city to city in this game?

It's still too arcadey for my liking. It burns some time but that's it. Also what's with the destruction derby that goes on during multiplayer?

It annoys me that you get rammed off track, lose points because apparently you have collided with a car, track and get a corner penalty and end up missing the finish by 10 seconds...

I bought this last weekend, second-hand and generally I'm quite pleased with it.

The Forza guys have nothing to worry about on the realism front, but it reminds me quite a lot of PGR3/PGR4 and I loved those back in the day. I wasn't going to touch it until they had sorted the main issues out and it seems like they might have. One negative it seems to be VAG lovers paradise, nothing but VW and Audi so far.

On a side note, any of you chaps got a club going I can join, please? I'm desperate to unlock some of the cars hidden behind the club lock out.

I'm thinking of buying this second hand too, I upgraded my wheel to a ps4 compatible one for p cars but now I have to wait months and the graphics seem like a good ps4 power demo game. Worth £20?

I'd say so. I think the developers dropped a bk by trying to over sell it.
Its plays well enough and is a bit of a challenge without being overly difficult. Its a bit of fun without taking itself too seriously.

At twenty quid I don't think you would be too much out of pocket if you flogged it on if you didn't like it.

I don't see the Playstation plus version being much of a draw. If they give you one country and a few cars that will become very boring, very quickly indeed.

From what I gather, people will be using the PS+ version the same way that I planned to use it, which was as a demo to see if I wanted the full game.

Short answer: no

Long answer: no, you really can't

Longer answer: it's a racer where you select the track you want to race in the set up screen, so it's not at all an open world driving game. If you are looking for that then the only two I can think of are NFS or The Crew. Both have their plus points, but both are also massively flawed.

To take a picture you press the touch pad. It pauses the action and takes you to a different environment for editing. Its mint, the photo side of it, proper good.

With you now, that threw me for a bit. Once you have the image you want, press the "share" button and then upload it to the available options.

Bought my PS4 this evening. If this is a bad game I can't wait for a good one.

Agree the AI is a bit garbage but then it is on Mario Kart and that's brilliant.

I have a sealed copy of this game and can't make my mind up whether to swap it out for an alternative or not, there seems to be so many contrary views and reviews. Clearly I will get a better swap out deal if the game remains unopened, so I don't want to open it to try it if it's a lemon.

I have come from an xbox 360 and enjoyed Forza motorsport (up to no. 4 when I got fed up with it), though I think apart from the visuals the sweet spot with that game was Forza 2 with great music and a good deal more fun than the later games. I also liked Forza Horizon more than the 'core brand' games as it didn't take itself too seriously and it wasn't overly complicated, you could just play it for a bit of fun, it didn't really feel like a grind to progress to the faster cars.

Online racing doesn't really appeal to me as I'm always going to be at the back of the field vs the full time couch potatoes who live and breathe video games.

So, should I trade in for Dragon Age Inquisition? Or is the game worth a punt for a not too serious armchair racer?
