i think THE 571G was sold for a similar amount at a dvla auction. I cant see the value, and whats it worth when top gear stop filming?

Just for the record DVLA started to sell numbers back in Dec 1989 and to date has generated £1.6 billion.....! + the £millions of transfer/retention fees.....! So I think it's safe to say this and any future government quite like personalized number plates...... clap

Not as I'm interested in them of course..... thumbup

According to DVLA THE 571G is currently on a 2003 Noble, in silver, and it's taxed until September.

Saw LDN 1 on a Maybach.

It may be worth a few bob, but as we all know it's worth less than H15 LDNyes

Does anyone have the DVLA email contact who you could ask if a reg had been registered before and then you could request for it to be put to auction? I seem to remember it was a lady, I did it for my old plate whichi Subsequently bought at auction, but that was a while ago..

thanks

There's a link on their website nowadays. You used to email someone direct (Jodie Davies I think) but now it's a generic form. It's under questions or contact DVLA, something like that.
