Isn't that a dodge so that you don't have to pay the congestion charge if you say your car is a taxi?
It was in Knightsbridge, there are lots and lots of complimentary Rolls for the hotels etc, I assume the one I saw is not complimentary and needs a private hire licence through accepting "fares". I would be surprised if the owner of a £250k car was that worried about paying £2500 in congestion charge a year.

Superb!
x 2! Made me smile laugh . I guess Chanel can afford it, but I wonder how much they spent on acquiring the number?

While morally questionable, you've got to admit this is very clever idea If I lived in London, I'd consider a sticker on my car to save £2.5k per year.

This reminds me of a similar story in Ireland relating to Ryan Air. Apparently Michael O'Leary's personal mercedes is registered as a taxi to enable him beat the traffic by using the bus lanes in Dublin without being fined!

Great spot and amazing number! My first instinct was 'definitely photoshop', but O4 is indeed on a silver Skoda Superb. A contender for plate worth more than the car?

Norwich has a cab company called ABC and they have a minivan with the reg CA11 ABC which I thought was pretty cool.

Also, my M535i is D535 XAB which I thought was quite nice.

Fiona Richmond had FU 2 before Billy Smart. A1 was owned by Dunlop, never Rover I don't think.

Not a lot, saw it in the mid 80's on a Transit they had. So bought before plates became trendy/valuable

In Yorkshire we have a huge multi million car dealership group with many franchises called JCT 600. Jack Tordoff named the first garage after his plate "JCT 600" in the 1960's for some free advertising..... They have alot of Short JCT plates now but the jewel is still "JCT 600" and it's still a family owned company to this day.... nerd

Wasn't that Lloyd's (old PHer) old plate that he used to have on his white 911 cabrio around Leeds?
