Saw HZ1 earlier, spaced as such and comes up on Euro Car Parts. Didn't think we did 'Z' in the UK?
A really interesting one - we have had a few oddities like this. You can have a Z, on a Northern Irish plate. However, this is a Republic of Ireland plate, issued in 1944 by Tyrone. We did not think it was possible for these to be transferred to UK cars after Irish independence in the 1920s, but this joins 'IT 1' as ROI plates spotted (and apparently legally registered) on UK cars.
I was quite confused by it - Spotted in Chichester, West Sussex. The wife thought I was a weirdo for finding it so strange!
Tyrone is one of the 6 counties of Northern Ireland. Confusing.
Oh bugger, that's my Geography letting me down paperbagsorry in advance to armaghman of course Tyrone is in the North, so it's a completely legit UK plate.

AIA 3 on some little suzuki '4x4' type thing today.

Although it was spaced as a single unit, so perhaps the continuity police will tell me off...

I spotted "PUT 1N" yesterday - was surprised that the man voted most likely to be an actual Bond villian and live in a hollowed-out Volcano would drive a Suzuki Swift but apparently he does ;0

Someone locally also rocks "ISIS 55" - I'm imagining it's value has dropped of recent (I'm also not sure exactly what it's supposed to read tbh)

Iirc, that's Cilla Hartley's car, daughter of Tom Hartley the car dealer.

They have some nice plates ....

Son Tom H Jnr I think has THJ 1 and son Carl has C4RLS.

I saw this car (Jag) too parked up on my way over to Poole on the Blandford Forum road - just looked and it's not showing as insured so not sure what it was.
